For over thirty years, Raf Marchesini has been exploring the language of club culture as a DJ, producer, and remixer, building an artistic identity shaped by musical culture, experience, and constant evolution. A journey that has taken him from the decks of Italian clubs to international dancefloors, and from historic studios of the Italian dance scene to releases on some of the most important labels in electronic music.
His path into music production begins in the 1990s at Media Records, one of the most iconic labels of the Italian dance era, where among his early projects stands "Future Love", released under the alias Brahama together with Paolo Sandrini and Mauro Picotto. The track achieved strong success across European charts and was later included in the Greatest Hits compilation of the Rockets.
In the following years, his career evolved through productions such as "Ibiza", "Boys and Girls", and "Beautiful Life", released with the historic independent label Saifam, founded by Mauro and Simone Farina. To these, he added further hits such as "Faraó" and "Babylon", followed by more recent releases like "Dancando Lambada" and "Los Ninos del Barrìo", created in his recording studio, now known as 8House Studio.
Alongside his productions, he has collaborated with international artists and delivered official remixes for some of the most recognised names in the dance scene, including Alex Gaudino, Michelle Weeks, Gabin, DJ Antoine, R.I.O., Electroluv, and many others.
With over 350 released productions and a catalogue distributed by labels such as Universal, Warner, Ultra, Spinnin', Avex Trax, Ministry of Sound, Media Records, Saifam, New Music, Time, D-Vision, Ego, UMM, Raf Marchesini has built a solid and recognised presence in the international electronic music landscape.
At the same time, his work as a DJ has taken him to major clubs across Italy and to events throughout Europe and Asia, refining a musical sensitivity that has become a defining element of his sets.
Rather than following trends, Raf Marchesini prefers to move through them, selecting what continues to embody authenticity, groove, and emotion over time. From this vision comes a distinctive style where afro house, house, tech house, Latin influences, and contemporary electronic sounds blend naturally into a musical journey that captivates audiences from the first track to the last.
Today, he continues to collaborate with New Music, Saifam, and several international labels, while balancing original productions, remixes, and DJ sets with the development of Groovalto, his independent label: a creative space built around a clear musical vision, free from trends and driven exclusively by quality.
Every time he steps behind the decks, his goal remains the same: to turn music into an experience that creates connection, energy, and memories that last far beyond the final track.

Da oltre trent'anni Raf Marchesini esplora il linguaggio del clubbing come DJ, producer e remixer, costruendo un'identità artistica fondata su cultura musicale, esperienza e costante evoluzione.
Un percorso che lo ha portato dalle console dei club italiani ai dancefloor internazionali, dagli storici studi di registrazione della dance italiana alle produzioni pubblicate dalle più importanti etichette del settore.
Il suo viaggio nella produzione musicale inizia negli anni '90 alla Media Records, iconica label di Gianfranco Bortolotti, dove tra i primi progetti spicca "Future Love", realizzato insieme a Paolo Sandrini e Mauro Picotto sotto lo pseudonimo Brahama. Il brano conquista numerose classifiche europee e viene successivamente incluso nella raccolta "Greatest Hits" dei Rockets.
Negli anni successivi prende forma una carriera che lo porta a produrre brani di successo come "Boys and Girls", "Ibiza" e "Beautiful Life", realizzati con la storica label indipendente di Mauro e Simone Farina. A questi si aggiungono hit come "Faraò", "Babylon", fino ai più recenti "Dancando Lambada" e "Los Ninos del Barrìo", nate nel suo studio di registrazione oggi conosciuto come 8House Studio.
Parallelamente collabora con artisti internazionali e realizza remix ufficiali per alcuni tra i nomi più riconosciuti della scena dance, tra cui Alex Gaudino, Michelle Weeks, DJ Antoine, Gabin, R..I.O., Electroluv e molti altri.
Con oltre 350 produzioni pubblicate e una discografia distribuita da label come Universal, Warner, Ultra, Spinnin', Avex Trax, Ministry of Sound, Media Records, Saifam, New Music, Time, D-Vision, Ego, UMM, Raf Marchesini ha costruito negli anni una presenza solida e riconosciuta nel panorama elettronica internazionale.
Parallelamente, la sua attività di DJ lo ha portato ad esibirsi nei principali club italiani e in numerosi eventi tra Europa e Asia, raffinando una sensibilità musicale che oggi rappresenta il tratto distintivo di ogni suo set.
Più che seguire le tendenze, Raf Marchesini preferisce attraversarle, selezionando ciò che nel tempo conserva autenticità, groove ed emozione. È da questa visione che nasce uno stile personale in cui sonorità afro house, house, tech house, influenze latine ed elettronica contemporanea convivono con naturalezza, dando vita ad un viaggio musicale coinvolgente dall'inizio alla fine.
Oggi continua a collaborare con New Music, Saifam e numerose etichette internazionali, alternando produzioni originali, remix e DJ set allo sviluppo di Groovalto, la sua label indipendente: uno spazio creativo nato per dare voce ad una precisa idea di musica, libera dalle mode e guidata esclusivamente dalla qualità.
Ogni volta che sale in consolle il suo obiettivo rimane lo stesso: trasformare la musica in un'esperienza capace di creare connessione, energia e ricordi destinati a durare ben oltre l'ultima traccia.
